After spending months creating and executing a business plan, you've managed to score your first couple of sales. Now, you're faced with the daunting challenged of getting your business in the news, and spreading your 'who, what, where, why and when' with the world so that you can increase the amount of traffic to your website, and attract new customers from all different channels. With no idea of where or how to start, this can often seem like a daunting and discouraging task.
In this class ideal for start-up and small business owners (or anyone with an idea!) we will outline how to get your business in the news on a monthly basis. From how to find the right reporters, to brainstorming relevant, engaging and newsworthy angles, this workshop will help you up your PR game and take your PR skills from zero to successful overnight. Participants will walk away with knowledge of how to craft a PR pitch, research and target the correct outlets, and learn invaluable techniques for how to find relevant angles to appear in the media on a monthly basis.
Participants should ideally come prepared to class with a business plan or start-up Idea. Participants should have a basic understanding of LinkedIn.
