About This Event

THIS EVENT SERIES IS BROUGHT TO YOU IN COLLABORATION WITH TASTING COLLECTIVE, INSIDEHOOK & FOURSQUARE CITY GUIDE!

We invite you to join us for an intimate chef-led feast at one of New York's hottest restaurants, where you will enjoy nine incredible courses, assembled by Chef Vinicius Campos. As you dine, Chef Campos will come out of the kitchen to share some "Bites of Knowledge" about the ingredients, the origins of the meal, and how it all comes together.

Additionally, the folks from Eve’s Cidery, one of the Northeast’s top rated hard ciders, will be offering an OPTIONAL cider pairing ($30 additional cost) with the meal, and the cider-makers will be in attendance to tell us all about the cider making process.

RESTAURANT OVERVIEW

Wassail is widely recognized as NYC’s top cider-focused restaurant, with over 90 ciders on draft and by the bottle. Their obsession with cider is evident in the food menu as well, which is inspired by the cuisines of cidermaking regions. The kitchen is helmed by Chef Vinicius Campos, who previously was executive chef at NY Times Critics' Pick restaurant Fitzcarraldo in Brooklyn.

THE FEAST LINE-UP
All dishes are served family-style

  1. Smoked Potato Croquettes with crème fraîche and jalapeño
  2. Pickled Shishito Peppers with jerez and sea salt
  3. Chorizo and Beans with charred bread, tomato, and roasted garlic
  4. Stracciatella with house made flatbread, arugula, and black pepper
  5. Roasted Hanger Steak with salsa verde, grilled vidalias, and coriander
  6. Fried Black Rice with roasted mushrooms, pickled shallots, and egg yolk
  7. Brillat Savarin Cheese with lavender and seckle pear
  8. Apple Tart with whipped creme fraiche and ginger
  9. Devils Food Cake with dulche du leche and whipped cream

NOTE: At this event, we WILL be able to accommodate all dietary restrictions and food allergies. If you need accommodations, please email support@tastingcollective.com after you purchase tickets to let us know your allergies/restrictions we can give the chef a heads up.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Ticket price covers the full cost of the meal including tax & tip.
  • YOUR FIRST DRINK IS ON US! But otherwise, drinks are not included in the ticket price and may be purchased separately at the restaurant.
  • No printed tickets necessary, just bring ID as well as cash if you plan on purchasing beverages.
  • Must be 21+ to attend.
