Emma is a Senior Experience Designer at Tribalworldwide DDB, a digital agency based in London. Emma has had an interesting path into UX, having studied Psychology at University and not really knowing how she could use her knowledge, fell immediately into Client Services as she knew she wanted to work in an agency. Shortly after this, she got into Data Strategy but it wasn't until working closely with the UX team on various projects did she realise her Psychology degree could come into use. Emma completed the General Assembly 10-week part-time course in 2018 which enabled her to career change. She then went on to teach the same course twice in 2020/21 to help others make the leap into the world of tech.
Katrina is a Senior User Experience Consultant at Wunderman Thompson Commerce, a digital, based in London. Katrina fell into the field of UX after working for General Assembly part-time, simultaneously exposing herself to the tech industry. She completed the UXDI immersive course in 2015 in Los Angeles at General Assembly, paving a new career path for herself. Shortly, after completing her course she moved to Spain and worked for a consultancy that allowed her to travel across Europe, working on projects in Aerospace, Insurance, Government, Private, Hospitality and more. More recently, she’s moved to London where she co-instructed the part-time User Experience course in 2020/2021 at General Assembly.
Fabio is a Senior UX Designer at Ostmodern, a Digital Product and Creative Agency based in London. He discovered the world of User Experience during his Master in Cognitive Psychology and fell in love with the idea of combining his passion for technology and innovation with the research skills gained at the University. In the last 7 years, he worked for start-ups and agencies, expanding his knowledge in areas like service design, product positioning and user research while working with clients in the automotive, healthcare, fintech, and hospitality industries.
Joe is a multidisciplinary designer and researcher. With a background working as an interior and industrial designer, he was often drawn to everything in the physical world. Here he developed a deep understanding of how people interact with products and the spaces in which they live. Keen to develop a more holistic view and elevate his designs further, he began to learn digital UX design principles. Inspired by the process and impact digital products can have, he decided to pursue a future in UX design, bringing his creative problem-solving skills and collaborative spirit.
