Laurie’s core belief: Aligning your career with your true nature is the path to living an inspired life.

She has walked in your shoes . . .

First, she was a coder. Laurie studied business and information technology at the University of Texas. First job? A computer programmer! Then she followed her true nature and shifted into Technology Recruiting and Technology Sales.

She founded The Laso Corporation, a boutique Information Technology search firm, in 1995. Laso evolved into InspiHER Tech, supporting Laurie’s mission to bring equal pay and opportunities to women working in technology through a spiritually-centered approach.

Laurie’s credentials and certifications include:

  • Women’s Business Enterprise
  • National Association of Personnel Services
  • Martha Beck Life Coach
  • Passion Test Facilitator
  • American Association of University Women (AAUW) Negotiation Coach
  • Cornell University Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion expert
  • Program Director for the Tech Talks at 1871, a tech incubator recognized by UBI Global as the #1 Private Business Incubator in the world
  • Mentor through AnitaB.org, Chicago Innovation and the Executives’ Club of Chicago
  • Keynote and panelist speaker on career hustle culture, how to connect a career with one’s true nature, unconscious bias, inclusion and workplace culture.

Laurie is a giver. She delights in giving back and volunteers with her city’s Fine and Cultural Arts Commission. She’s been married for more than two decades and has two adult kiddos. She loves walking among trees, watching independent films, writing, reading and hearing great stories, having poker nights with her girlfriends, and learning about and from others. Laurie is a personal and spiritual growth junkie who never says no to hearing your miracle story and is happy to share one of hers – just ask!
