About This Workshop

The wellbeing of our employees, students, clients, instructors, and guests is our number one priority here at General Assembly. We are monitoring the Coronavirus situation very carefully and will be adjusting delivery of our programs.

Due to the current health concerns in the greater Los Angeles area, all GA short-form (one day) classes, workshops and bootcamps as of Monday, March 16 will temporarily be held online - including this one.

Registered students will be notified 48 hours in advance of this program with information on how to log in to the Zoom Meeting Room and Slack messaging apps. Registration for this class will close 2 hours prior to class start in order to allow all students ample opportunity to have the technology enabled.

In this interactive one day bootcamp, you'll learn advanced digital marketing tactics, and how to implement them effectively in order to drive more traffic, leads, and customers for your business. You’ll recognize that marketers need to be cognizant of everything from design to delivery and optimization. Through a combination of videos, real world examples, and hands-on activities, you'll have the opportunity to further master a strategy that will allow you to make real progress toward improving your marketing skills.

Mastering digital marketing will help you grow your business, your skill set, and your career. The techniques you'll learn in this bootcamp can be applied immediately, giving you a more solid grounding and practical experience than more introductory level workshops of this type.

Preparation

  • This course will occur completely online using Zoom and Slack
  • You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone as well as a strong internet connection
  • Pre-work and course set up information will be emailed to all students signed up around 24 hours before (and again an hour before) your course launches
  • Students should have a basic understanding of digital marketings strategies.

Ashley Baxter is a digital marketing expert with 13+ years in the industry. Her previous experience includes directing online channel strategies while working in-house at AT&T, Cricket Wireless & JCPenney. During her career, she has also served as a trusted advisor and Principal of Client Success for brands such as Sephora and Burger King in the US, and Starbucks & Anytime Fitness both in the US and UK.

As the founder of Baxter Digital Media Group, she helps clients build and execute multi-channel digital marketing strategies while keeping their sanity in the process. Her integrated approach leverages tactics in the areas of search, social media, SEO, email, influencer, and content marketing.

Ashley holds a BA from Texas State University in Mass Communications with a specialization in Public Relations.
