About this workshop

Looking for a leg-up in a big technical interview you've got approaching? Interested in expanding your skills and problem solving abilities as a developer?

We've got you covered! In this workshop, you'll become equipped with the various tools you’ll need to ace your next whiteboarding challenge. This includes both soft-skills, i.e., knowing what to expect and what will be expected of you and how to best handle difficult situations, as well as more technical skills, i.e., computer science principles, identifying when it’s appropriate to apply the right problem-solving strategy, etc. The course is geared towards General Assembly graduates or anyone with some programming experience looking to expand their skills and knowledge.

Prereqs & Preparation

  • Basic JavaScript knowledge — functions, iterators, etc. (Note that you will be able to participate and follow along using another programming language, so it isn't strictly required, but all examples will be presented in JavaScript, so it is recommended).
  • Bring a laptop with which you can execute JavaScript in whatever environment you prefer (node.js, Browser, repl.it, etc.)
