SQL is a powerful language, and tool, for data analysis and data handling. In this bootcamp, you’ll dive deep into SQL syntax and database structures, while applying your new SQL skills to address business problems. This bootcamp will take absolute beginners through the basics of SQL to an ability to write queries with confidence.
General Assembly’s classes, workshops & events are for recreational purposes and are not regulated by the bureau of proprietary school supervision.
If this class is recorded, students will be sent the recording link within 7 days after class completion by email. Students are encouraged to download and save any shared materials (worksheets, deck if applicable) during class for later reference as they are not be shared by email.
Students must have a laptop with SQLite (or their preferred DB browser) pre-installed.

Nigel was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Awarded a Presidential Scholarship to study economics at Hampton University. He then returned to NYC to complete his Bachelors in Economics at New York University. He worked in credit derivative markets at Goldman Sachs and Old Lane before founding The Street Academy for Financial Literacy, a non-profit serving over 1000 NYC youth annually. Today, Nigel is the Co-Founder and COO at BALLSTAR, a social database for global basketball statistics.
