SXSW 2014: Alumni Community Building

Over the years, the SXSW Interactive festival has earned the reputation as a breeding ground for new ideas and creative technology, and so it only makes sense that we take the journey to participate. Last week, Austin served as the meeting point of four GA campus alumni groups and a weekend focused on community building.

Over an intimate dinner of fajitas and guacamole, we caught up on everyone’s latest endeavors and exciting ideas for the future. A quick shuttle ride took us to the bustling GA, Splash, and Maveron Midnight Garden Party, an event so vibrant we’ll let the photos after the jump speak for themselves..

All in all, SXSW was a huge success for us to build community. A big thank you to the group of alumni who made it out to SXSW this year including:
Andrew Antar (Web Development Immersive Grad, San Francisco), Founder of
Charlotte Chen (Web Development Immersive Grad, Hong Kong), Founder of Spottly
Brianna Plaza (Digital Marketing, NYC), Communications Specialist at The International Institute of Rural Reconstruction
Britney Jo Ludkowski (Web Development Immersive Grad, London), Web Developer at Charleston Orwig
Pauline Munga (Front-End Web Development Grad, NYC)
