THE DETAILS

How It Works

In September, GA will fly you and three other women to San Francisco for a week of dynamic opportunities to explore the tech sector in depth. After the week wraps up, we’ll keep working with you to nurture your progress.

Why It's Unique

As part of our commitment to increase access in tech, we’ve devised a program for women that provides a week-long educational experience that builds on our mission: to empower individuals to pursue work they love.

THE JOURNEY

What’s in store the week of September 13 - 18, when we fly you and three other women to San Francisco.

Flights, Hotels, and Cars

Get complimentary round-trip airfare to SF, as well as five nights of accommodations and car-service credits—all on us.

AMAs

Meet women who work at leading tech companies like LinkedIn, Twitter, and 500 Startups. Learn about their diverse roles, ranging from engineering and product management to design and investing.

Company Tours

Tour the campuses and offices of Silicon Valley, including guided tours of Facebook and Twitter’s offices in Menlo Park and San Francisco, and a tour and sitdown with Chegg CEO Dan Rosensweig.

Peer Mentoring

Get paired with a peer mentor through our partner, Glassbreakers, for one-on-one mentoring sessions and advice on achieving career goals.

Conference Passes

Receive a complimentary pass to Startup Summit at the Dreamforce tech conference, taking place 15 September–16 September.

Lunch with VIPs

Culminate a week of learning and growing by meeting inspirational women working at the executive level in tech.

The Beyond

After the 18th, we’ll help you continue on your path to success.

  • Receive free class and course credit from GA to ground your momentum in useful tech skills, like front-end web development and product management.
  • You'll continue to check in and receive guidance in one-on-one sessions with a mentor.

If you can find something that you're really passionate about, whether you're a man or a woman comes a lot less into play. Passion is a gender-neutralizing force.
