Rome Bell

Software Engineering Instructor, General Assembly

San Francisco

Rome is a software engineer who enjoys building software and teaching people how to build it themselves. Previously, Rome was a serial entrepreneur in Kentucky. He built several successful ventures across industries including accounting, nightlife, entertainment, and consulting. While working in all of these various industries, Rome gained invaluable insight into how to create value for businesses through entrepreneurship.

After gaining many insights to business, Rome decided to move to California to fully pursue what excited him the most - technology. Rome attended a bootcamp, and taught himself how to master the engineering components of running a business, and now has made it his mission to teach and share his skillset. In addition to entrepreneurship, Rome has taught at Black Girls Code and is excited to share his expertise teaching Javascript at General Assembly.
