Data Science Immersive Lead Instructor, General Assembly

Heather is the Local Lead Instructor for General Assembly’s Data Science Immersive program. She has also worked collaboratively with GA and the MiSK Foundation to create culturally sensitive curriculum for Data Science courses in Saudi Arabia.
Prior to General Assembly, Heather worked in non-profit development and served as the Head of Communications and Community Partnerships for The National Museum of Health + Medicine Chicago. She also worked for the University of Illinois at Chicago as a Behavioral Neuroscience Researcher, focused on risk assessment and motivated behaviors.
She has a MA in Museum and Exhibition Studies, a BA in Psychology and Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Certificate in Data Science from General Assembly.
