About this event

By the end of this year, over 276,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women according to breastcancer.org. In addition, breast cancer’s mortality rates are higher than any other cancer in women.

The diagnosis is just the beginning of the journey and coping with practical needs becomes challenging. Medical and financial paperwork are often just as traumatizing for the individual as the diagnosis itself.

Early detection and education are key to moving from awareness to advocacy. This discussion hopes to honor those who have passed on, those who have rang that bell, and those who pour their life into this work.
