Not a Developer? Still Lots of Startup Jobs

By Anna Lindow

We’re gearing up for our first annual General Assembly Job Fair, coming to our campus on March 3rd. We have a bunch of amazing New York companies lined up to meet with eligible candidates. All of these companies are hiring, and, as you might expect, they’re looking for developers.

What you might now know, however, is that there are a lot of opportunities out there for people who may not be masterminds with JavaScript or CSS.

Here’s a snapshot of the information we got from companies that will be at the Job Fair. Yes, they’re hiring developers, but there’s also a lot of room for people with expertise in sales, marketing, product development, and management.

Check out the stats on the job openings the companies at our career fair have listed:

I am trying to understand your marketing approach.  You have put forth an interesting concept and I would like to know how successful you are so far.  Is it possible for you to say how you expect to profit?
